Born, brought up and bred in the city of Berhampur, Dr. Sambit Begray is a gynaecologist, but has his heart and mind elsewhere, like with books, travelling and movies. An avid movie buff, he watches each and every Friday release with a non-critics’ eye and relishes art and commercial cinema in equal measure. He is an advocate of short films, and makes it point to watch at least a couple every night before gong to bed.
He is an active member of Rotary, and has served the organisation as well as his home club in different capacities. His head lies where his heart is, and believes that Service Above Self is a prerogative of a few destined ones, and he is glad that he is one of them. Happily married to Dr. Sarita, and blessed with a son, Samyak, Dr. Sambit Begray believes in living life one day at a time, and his life’s motto remains Attitude Is Everything !!!
