Steps by step guide: How you transfer your SBI account from one branch to another online

Step 1: Visit the official website ‘ www.onlinesbi.com ‘.

Step 2: Select ‘Personal Banking’ and using your username and password.

Step 3: A home page will be displayed on your screen, click on ‘e-services’ tab on the top panel.

Step 4: After that click on ‘Transfer of savings account’ from the quick links. The extreme left of the page.

Step 5: A new page will appear, select the account you wish to transfer.

Step 6: Now, you need to enter the branch code you wish to transfer the account to and click on the next option ‘Get Branch Code’.

Step 7: The name of the branch based on the code entered, gets auto updated.

Step 8: Read and accept the terms and condition and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 9: Once submitted to verify all your account details with the existing branch code and the new branch code. And, then click on ‘Confirm’.

Step 10: An ‘OTP’ is sent to your ‘registered mobile number’.

Step 11: Enter the ‘high-security password’ and click on ‘confirm’.

A new page will appear showing ‘Your branch transfer request has been successfully registered’ carrying all your account transfer details. You can even click on the above ‘History’ option to get all the details of your account transfer.
